NANDO'S #PERiTricks: WE LIVE IN A SOSATIE

(Smoked sosatie) 

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 15 minutes

Serves: 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 box Nando’s PERi-PERi Bag & Bake Smokey Churrasco
  • 1 chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 2 t canola oil
  • 2 t Smokey Churrasco spice from the spice pack in the box
  • 3 – 4 cocktail skewers

METHOD

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
  • Cut the chicken breast into 2 x 2cm cubes.
  • Add the chicken, oil, and spice to the cooking bag, fold and secure with a washing peg and give a good shake for 10 seconds.
  • Open the bag and skewer the chicken onto the skewers, 6 cubes on each.
  • Place skewers back into the bag, and fold close.
  • Place onto a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and blow torch the top of the bag until it starts flaming, then blow out the flame and tear open the bag.
  • Enjoy the smoked sosaties.
